Slow and steady wins the race she smiles mischievously she pats his shoulder and bounces off the bed now get off my bed you're still wet from swimming
He rolls his eyes at her statement this chick is definitely playing him but he will admit he likes the challenge Well it was time for him to shower since Priya took forever to get out of the bathroom
After Ram gets off her bed and into the bathroom she pulls the cover off and throws it in the dryer located in the back of the house Priya went over to the kitchen go make some breakfast since she's finally getting hungry
Ram smells breakfast that eventually creep into the bathroom for the month they've been staying in the island house he fully trusted Priya when it came to cooking she wasn't kidding when she had nothing to do and learned how to cook because she was bored
He sees her at the stove with a bowl next to her of pancake batter watching the pancake carefully and scrambling eggs he observes her from behind her bruises on her arms have disappeared she still has a black eye but its not as harsh and noticeable as when he bailed her out
She hums some song that he isn't familiar with as she goes on with her chore she turns her head seeing Ram and looks back to the food I had a feeling you were watching me
Was I creeping you out? he smirked
A little bit she finishes scrambling the eggs here's your eggs pancakes will be ready soon she starts as she leaves the stove for a moment to get some milk from the fridge
I think if your mom saw this happening she'd be prancing about how her little girl is acting like a wife and lady
God . . . I'll never hear the end of it she says grimly I've already pleased her in knowing how to cook she'd be more annoying if she found out that you and I became a couple Priya sighs

He smiled to see her cheeks burning red and biting her lip in showing her embarrassment before she lightly pushes him away there u got your kiss she mumbles and goes to put their breakfast on the table
triumphant he smiles before going back into the living room to join his fiance at the table
Ram's cell phone vibrates in his jeans during breakfast he's been in contact with Vikram most of the time just texting each other about what has been going on with them since Ram has been with Priya the past month the only thing there is to say is what has been going on with him and Priya
Vikram laughed when Ram told him they're together Priya told Ram a couple days ago that she didn't want to tell her friends about them since she knew how they would react nd if they ever found out that she was engaged they would flip and there would be talk around the college she goes to
They didn't know who would have it worst Ram who goes to a private college where girls would ogle him or Priya who goes to an all girl's college where girls gossip none stop and would bully a girl if she did something her being engaged to a good looking rich boy at twenty would cause a lot of trouble for her

Priya came from a rich family like Ram did she learned a lot of skills that would make her a proper lady as the heir of the Sharma family as a child she learned how to play the piano and violin and learn how to dance ballet and ballroom she never got to learn how to handle a violin she was better at playing with the piano but gave up by the time she entered college she adjusted her dancing style to more of modern dance than ballet but kept her grace from ballet and ballroom
Ram had to learn how business worked in his father's company as well as how being a lawyer worked but he never found any interest in doing either of those things the only thing his father ever encouraged was being a lady's man to learn how to charm a woman
Ram watches Priya dance in front of him from his bed will it always be like this when they marry? he stops himself there when they marry he had always thought If they marry and never when maybe he was giving up on fighting their parents wishes looking at Priya and actually being hers marrying her may not be so bad
