Priya wakes up from her sleep a little sad it had to end she was rudely awaked by her cell phone her monster of a mother calling Priya waits for it to get her mom's message even though she knows what it is going to be about Priya picks herself out of Ayesha's bed sheis still sleeping soundly and goes to the bathroom to use Ayesha's extra toothbrush she keeps for Priya in case she sleeps over at the last minute
She cleans her face and looks herself in the mirror a total mess her face looks worn out and tired she slips out of Ayeshas's house and back home I'm gonna get it now she sighs
When she enters her house her mom is already waiting right there Morning mom
Where the hell have you been? and jail again? she snarls I thought you were done with that phase I thought I taught you better than this I raised you to be a well behaved lady not to be a criminal
Shut up Priya thinks to herself. she wishes she can say something but knows she's in for it back to Isolation Island?
Her mom crosses her arms you bet your sorry you're going back
I'll get packing then she sighs and goes up the stairs
Ram rolls over and sees a message from Vikram and replies back before rolling out of bed he walks down the stairs to the kitchen where his father is sitting reading a paper and having breakfast
Ram he begins from behind his paper
Ram pours himself a glaas of orange juice ignoring his father and sitting at the opposite end of the table he takes a sip of juice before replying yes dad
Amarnath Kapoor Ram's father lowers his paper and stares at his son with a hard gaze do not forget what your priorities are Ram your mother's silly proposition is a great business plan our company will grow exponentially when you two marry the money is important nothing less
Ram looks at his father before shaking his head and standing up what the hell on dad

Priya packs up all the clothing that will help her survive the heat on the island. It is not like a tropical island more like an island with a mountain feel to it no electronics this is punishment for going to jail again no contact with the outside world
She packs all her summer dresses shorts skirts tank tops, shirts, and sneakers she can use up there she goes downstairs with her first luggage of things as she hears her mom talking on the phone with Mrs.Kapoor Sounds like her mom has the growing suspicion that Priya still doesn't like Ram and made a proposal that he should go too since he hasn't been around Priya often so it seems
Priya shakes her head even if his mom forces him to go he won't come Priya sighs and goes back upstairs to get her second bag
Ram gets off his bike when his phone rings he takes it out of his pocket to see his mother's name he picks up the phone and his mother informs him that a car would be coming to pick him up and take him to the airport where their private jet is located she hangs up on him without explaining
So he wheels his motorcycle into Vikram's garage completely sure that he will take care of it
Ram gets into the back of the car without question and settles into the seat he takes out his phone and sends a message to Vikram informing him of the situation they soon pull into the private hangar and his bags are loaded into the luxurious jet he gets on the plane soon after but it seems they are waiting for someone else he figures it's his mother
Priya daydreams as her driver drives her to the airport to go into a jet to the island the limo stops some ways away from the jet as the driver and Priya walk with her luggage to the jet Priya tosses her luggage in and grabs her other bag before climbing inside she looks up and sees Ram in the jet too oh he is coming
She lightly blushes at him not sure if its anger or embarrassment what the hell are you doing here? she asks him in shock and disbelief
Ram opens one eye and stares at Priya what the hell is she doing here? MOM he will be having several words with her after this though she is being annoying already he refuses to raise his voice at her he chooses a logical response instead this is my family jet . . . I think the question is what are you doing here Priya? he asks simply
She huffs and drops her bag on the seat behind where she'll sit
Punishment for going to jail again my mom usually sends me off to the family island with no source of entertainment to keep me bored and feel grateful for what I have instead of underestimate my parents she answers him usually my mom would keep me there for about half a month to a month mostly during vacations if I did anything to wind me up in jail she sits down on the unusually comfortable seat just across the aisle from Ram and crosses her arms never mind me how come you're coming along on the journey?
I was tricked he says simply not wanting to speak of the subject the pilot comes on over the intercom telling them flight details and soon they were off Ram stares out the window looking at the clouds noting the tension in the air between him and Priya he's perfectly comfortable not talking to her at the moment as he doesn't know what to say to her the last few conversations had been hectic to say the least
Priya doesn't try talking to ram she wants him to make the first move she stares at the clouds daydreaming imagining she can actually touch the clouds which comfort her real easily her sleepover with Ayesha helped her a great deal to understand her feelings but talking to him is now the big step

What does Isha have to do with anything? she is a friend and she wanted to help he looks at her confusingly And you were drunk that kiss didn't mean anything so I didn't think it was worth mentioning again Ram sits back in his chair and pinches the bridge of his nose this whole thing has been one mishap after another

I need an hour to breath Priya says breathing slowly looking greener than when the turbulence started I think I may nausea in any moment she curls in a ball her head in between her legs and hands pressed to the back of her neck

Ram looks over at Priya and nods his head to confirm he heard her he pulls out his phone noticing he has a couple new messages he reads through the messages but decides not to reply to any of them at the moment In particular the text from his father has him especially pissed off he crosses his arms and sits back in the spacious back seat of the car Ram is tired of being angry it isn't something he's accustomed to feeling he can't help but look to the girl to his right and think she's the root of most of it
He mentally slaps himself afterwards for the thought she certainly isn't innocent as she is the reason they have to go to this island but she has been thrown into this whole marriage thing just like he had he has been contemplating saving his money up and just fleeing the country after they get back from the island anyway Ram resolves to find a way out of the marriage soon he isn't sure how much longer he would survive with this girl
Priya rolls into a ball and hugs her knees for some support as she breaths in and out slowly she looks over to Ram noticing that he doesn't look so happy or as calm as he did when they were in their ride
Sorry for pulling you into this situation dude probably after this we should go our separate ways Priya says She's not happy with the decision but she doesn't want to weigh him down with her troublemaking ways and feel like he has no choice but to stick with her
Ram sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose there she is making him feel bad again and she's very good at it He could picture Vikram laughing away at the whole situation back home he needs to sort his feelings out for the girl sitting next to him quickly maybe being on the island would give him a chance to figure everything out he definitely did not want to spend his time here arguing with her for all he knows she might come after him instead of cars the next time
He runs a hand through his hair and says after a long pause It's not your fault he takes her hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze I'm just losing my mind but that doesn't mean I have to be nasty to you I'm a jerk I'm sorry he lets her hand go and looks out the window again lost in thought when he said those things it made Priya smile
She will admit when he took her hand it made her heart make a huge leap It didn't help her nauseous feeling but it was still a good feeling none the less she keeps her head on his shoulder and takes deeper breaths inhaling half of the fresh air from the open window and the other half his scent he really does smell nice
After a while he takes his phone out again and texts Vikram bro my mom pulled a fast on me on a remote island somewhere with Priya for who knows how long what do I do? he sends Vikram the message
The ferry will be here in five minutes the driver tells them stopping the car in front of the pier

Ram's phone vibrates an island? why totally blows man well . . . maybe not piss her off not sure what to say that will help on the long run dude sort out ur little crush on her try to understand it a bit more and see what happens? sorry its not the best advice but its all I can think of
Ram reads the message from his friend and can't only shake his head It isn't as easy as he makes it sound through a text message the loud horn signaled that the ferry has arrived and his door opens instantly Ram nudges Priya awake then steps out the car and places his sunglasses over his eyes he walks towards the end of the pier as the ferry docks and awaits them the driver loads their bags onto the ferry before bidding them leave
Ram stands near the stern of the ship watching the mainland retreat farther and farther he wonders where this island is and why they just couldn't fly there a no fly zone maybe he thought he leans against the railing and watches calmly as they drift towards the island
Priya stays close to the edge of the ferry as she grips the railing for some support she has her eyes closed so that way she doesn't look around the water or else she actually may nausea the wind blows a refreshing chill through her hair and cooling off a bit of her sweat from the sickness she slowly sits down with her back to the railing while still gripping the top bar and leans her head back
Her mother has gotten rid of the every possible escape plans Priya has attempted in the past the first time she was booted to the island she almost escaped by their old water plane that plan failed and had the pier to the island destroyed so no plane can actually go their without dropping the passengers in the water second attempt and second time on the island she tried by boat that was left on the island assuming that Priya wouldn't know how to make the boat start she did and was booted back again so now they only take the ferry when the only way to escape now is to swim but the island is too far from the land to the airport
Priya pops another lemon drop in her mouth before shoving it back in her luggage where she felt something small and papery in it she goes through her bag and sees a small envelope she opens it slowly with shaky hands seeing a ring in it she stares at it questionably and reads the little note her mother left here's an engagement ring for you to wear when you and Ram actually agree on the arrangement don't lose it this ring was given to Ram's mother by his father and then given to me to give to you when we would tell you about the engagement don't do anything stupid food is already stocked in the fridge as well as nonrefrigerated food in the basement be good lots of love mom
Priya crumples the note and throws the envelope with the ring back in her luggage she won't need that any time soon Priya looks in her hand that has the crumpled note in it and noticed there's some writing on the back of it she opens it up again and reads through the note before her eyes widen and shoots up onto her feet and goes straight to Ram do you know about this ? she exclaims not in anger towards him but anger towards what her mother wrote listen to this
P.S. We forgot to mention to the both of you that after you two graduate next year you two will have the wedding the day after better make those plans for the big day soon we'll see you two in a month

Priya crumples the note and throws the envelope with the ring back in her luggage she won't need that any time soon Priya looks in her hand that has the crumpled note in it and noticed there's some writing on the back of it she opens it up again and reads through the note before her eyes widen and shoots up onto her feet and goes straight to Ram do you know about this ? she exclaims not in anger towards him but anger towards what her mother wrote listen to this
P.S. We forgot to mention to the both of you that after you two graduate next year you two will have the wedding the day after better make those plans for the big day soon we'll see you two in a month
Priya looks over to Ram apparently we have a little less time to get out of the situation
