Ram pulls up to the pier where he had met Vikram two months back to tell him everything that has happened when Priya and him were once engaged his parents know its one of the places he goes to when he feels lost His mother agreed to leave the results with him and Priya just to have their own privacy knowing her she probably left it there when college got off in case some moron wanted to steal it as a joke then left before the kids got there
Ram kicks the stands and walks to a yellow envelope with a rocks weighing it down on one of the posts he sighs to calm himself as he takes the envelope and rips it open
He turns to Priya stares her in the eye then back at the envelope before pulling out the piece of paper that tells them the news

It's negative . . . Ram says under his breath he reads it again over and over again just to make sure that his hopes isn't clouding his vision
No matter how many times he has read it it keeps saying negative
They're not related at all
Priya stares at Ram for what felt like forever to her doesn't it usually have the results at the very top of the paper or something? why is it taking so long to find the answer? she kept thinking to herself as he read the paper Ram then looks to her
It's negative Ram says again this time for her to hear him

Ram shows her the paper she skims through it to find the test is negative there is no relation between Kapoor and Priya Sharma
Priya looks to Ram in amazement while Ram shows his joy in his eyes Priya laughs as tears of happiness well up in her eyes they're not related they're not related
Ram holds her close as she cries he kisses the top of her head her forehead kisses her tears away and then her lips he's as relieved as she is relieved that there's no consequences or a wall that would keep them apart It's okay

Priya and Ram have never been happier since the good news their parents are happy too but unhappy with each other the two twenty year olds understand why they're mad at each other and left them to resolve the problem themselves
To be frank Ram's mom doesn't seem surprised that his father cheated on her she is surprised that the woman her husband had slept with was her friend since school Mrs.Krishna Amarnath kapoor has tasted betrayal before but never this intense and painful
The two families did fight each other for about a good month while the kids stayed away they weren't a part of the fight since they weren't even born yet when it happened
But . . . it happened eighteen years ago sure the news came really late but it was something that happened when they were still young they've forgiven each other but they have to rebuild their trust for each other

Ram and Priya are sitting on the bleachers at her college she finished training with her team and everyone has gone home for the evening Ram sat and watched the girls run around the track nodding to the girls that waved to him with a slight smile but really kept his eyes on Priya

Priya looks at herself in the mirror she doesn't look any different than she did when she was nineteen nd yet here she stands . . . twenty one and close to graduating she fixes her hair to look nice and clean for pictures her hair half up with cubic zirconia in her hair a strapless redviolet dress that goes down to her feet one inch heels and leaf and wines earrings to match the necklace and bracelet
She never imagined going to prom she didn't see a point in it every girl at college made a huge fuss about dresses makeup their hair nd what color the corsage should be to match with the girl's eyes or dress she thought it was stupid how the girls made a big deal about all that stuff for a dance
That is until Ram asked her to go to prom that's going on at his college she bets all his classmates are going to cry in jealousy when they see that Ram has a date
Priyaa her mom calls her from downstairs Priya sighs and looks back in the mirror Is her makeup okay? Is it too dark? Ram never complained at how dark her makeup was Is the lip gloss the right shade?
She shakes her head she honestly can't believe that she's reacting this way she's acting the same way she used to go against when girls

I'm coming pull that strand of hair out her face nd done she goes straight downstairs to find Ram waiting for her wearing a rented black tuxedo and shoes with a tie that matches the same color of her dress

Their own personal limo waited out for them the venue is an hour away from home they had a long ways to go they had the night planned out go to the venue eat something close to the prom destination and dance like there's no tomorrow

Ram and Priya are sitting on the bleachers at her college she finished training with her team and everyone has gone home for the evening Ram sat and watched the girls run around the track nodding to the girls that waved to him with a slight smile but really kept his eyes on Priya

Yes . . . took a while for the family to calm down he points out before taking a drag a year is going by faster than they thought
They've been going out clubbing getting into more fights like before and went through a lot of misunderstandings than a twenty year old can handle In fact a while ago Priya thought Ram was cheating on her with Isha Isha was coming onto Ram since he and Priya had a fight Isha thought that was a signal for her to jump him to make him feel better and forget about Priya
Priya came around and nearly threw Isha out the window if Ram didn't stop her Priya later told Ram why she doesn't like Isha

Priya looks at herself in the mirror she doesn't look any different than she did when she was nineteen nd yet here she stands . . . twenty one and close to graduating she fixes her hair to look nice and clean for pictures her hair half up with cubic zirconia in her hair a strapless redviolet dress that goes down to her feet one inch heels and leaf and wines earrings to match the necklace and bracelet
She never imagined going to prom she didn't see a point in it every girl at college made a huge fuss about dresses makeup their hair nd what color the corsage should be to match with the girl's eyes or dress she thought it was stupid how the girls made a big deal about all that stuff for a dance
That is until Ram asked her to go to prom that's going on at his college she bets all his classmates are going to cry in jealousy when they see that Ram has a date
Priyaa her mom calls her from downstairs Priya sighs and looks back in the mirror Is her makeup okay? Is it too dark? Ram never complained at how dark her makeup was Is the lip gloss the right shade?
She shakes her head she honestly can't believe that she's reacting this way she's acting the same way she used to go against when girls

I'm coming pull that strand of hair out her face nd done she goes straight downstairs to find Ram waiting for her wearing a rented black tuxedo and shoes with a tie that matches the same color of her dress

The mothers finally got over the drama and have gained each other's trust they burst into tears when they saw Priya come down and look straight to Ram they commented that they are definitely in love with each other and all that mushy stuff Priya thinks to herself that if they're like this on prom night she can't imagine how they'd react if she and Ram got married would they die of happiness in form of a heart attack as she walks down the way
They took a million photos to the point that Priya's cheeks started to hurt and practically freeze due to muscle strain they took pictures of evrything pinning his corsage to the jacket putting the corsage around her wrist them telling each other a joke before they burst out laughing poses nd so on the basic photo shoot of their kids going to prom
After Ram talking to his mother about something finally they let them go
Their own personal limo waited out for them the venue is an hour away from home they had a long ways to go they had the night planned out go to the venue eat something close to the prom destination and dance like there's no tomorrow
They ate at chinese before going in to meet Ram's classmate Vikram was amazed at how Priya looked especially since she doesn't have a black eye this time and looking at him like she's ready to stab him with a spork whenever eyes went to Priya Ram would immediately glare at them and practically telling them with his mind that there is no chance in hell that she would be interested in them
By some mistake Ram didn't win the crown for Prom King the girls were furious him being with some girl they don't know is bad enough as it is some girls had the guts to flirt with him in front of Priya grave mistake on their part Priya almost punched some teeth out if Ram didn't stop her and turned her the other way to avoid any fights although it would be entertaining to see how she fights since he didn't see how she fought the cops that one time
They keep their eyes on each other as they dance whether it is slow dancing or hip grinding to Priya's pleasure Ram didn't take a peek at other girls that tried seducing him more intensely than she has ever done

Ram wakes the next morning with Priya just beside him he looks around trying to remember how the hell he got here oh that's right he and Priya went to prom his prom Priya looked beautiful
Her hair half up in gentle curls with in her hair a strapless red violet dress that goes down to her feet one inch heels and leaf and wines earrings to match the necklace and bracelet he found her attractive enough until he saw her in a dress
How she has kept him interested in her for this long has never struck his mind before? he remembers his conversation he had with Vikram last summer that he has never liked a girl longer than a day or two Afterwards they were booted off the mainland and onto the island
Probably them being stuck on the island did the trick to understand how he felt about her he only saw the flaws of Priya the first two weeks of engagement after a month he saw the good things about her
Priya wakes up she took the fake diamonds out and her hair down out of her make nd out of her dress before going to sleep she didn't want to wake up looking like a disgusting mess or ruin the dress
Priya and Ram booked a hotel room for just the two of them for spending some time alone they lied to their parents that they're spending the night with a group of their friends at a hotel since the prom took place an hour away from home
She immediately gets out of bed and gets her dress hanging over the door of the closet before going to the washroom to clean her face and brush her teeth she take a shower? then again her prom dress probably smells like sweat from all the dancing last night no point in that she slips into her dress then cleans herself up before going to see Ram calmly pacing in front of the window

She nods her head with a wide smile never imagined I'd go to prom especially with you she laughs never did she think she'd be Ram's date she never thought she'd attend prom or be her once worst enemy's date nd enjoy the night what has been going on this year was never the plan for her
Ram shoves his hand in his pocket runs his free hand in his hair before taking something out of his pocket and tossing it over to Priya Instinctively she caught it whatever it is she looks down to it to see his mother's engagement ring

She stares at him with a blank stare and shakes her head Yes right . . . for Ram to come out and propose to her It has to be a joke his mother gave him the ring again for the arranged marriage again this isn't something that Ram would do and he wouldn't have thought of the idea anyways

He chuckles under his breath he knew she would react this way typical Priya to not accept something as good as this he gives her that smile that she eventually learned to love and turns to putty in front of him as he slowly approaches her she plants herself in her spot in order to fight but he knows better he knows she can't and won't fight him
He gently lifts her chin to him as he brushes his fingertips from her shoulders and down to her arm bumps following his fingers as he slyly smiles at her you don't think I'm serious?
Priya stares at him without any sign of backing down sure she's blushing as red as a tomato but she doesn't want to fall for it maybe he's actually serious maybe he's just playing her in order to see if she really likes the idea of them getting married she still believes that he's plying with her emotions by popping the question as it is

The music stops nd it changes the guests stand up and look towards the party tent when the bride appear all eyes go to her wearing beautiful red lhnga wid the embroidary done in golden jari in intricate design when Priya looks to Ram he relaxes completely this is a big step for the both of them he can see how nervous she is probably more nervous that she would somehow trip herself going down the aisle when she's really walking barefoot she commented that there was no way in hell she's wearing heels on sand

The Panditji call Priya's parents for khanyadan Priya and Ram then commit to remain faithful to each other while pursuing dharma, artha and kama Shipra pours holy water on Sudhir"s palms which flows into Ram's and then into Priya's palms symbolizing the continuity of life repaying the debt to their forefathers and the passing of the family heritage to the next generation
While Pandit called the Ayesha to tie the gatbandhan... asking the couple to stand fr the pherace... as Ram and Priya moved for the pheras the pandit startd chanting the mantras
They takes the first step and promises that they will take care of each other and pray for abundant blessings and prosperity in their life
In the second step they promises and prays to the Gods to bless them with physical and mental powers and lead a healthy married life
During the third step they promise to protect and increase their wealth by proper means
With the fourth step the Priya and the Ram pledge to share happiness and sadness together
With the fifth step they promises to be responsible and care for their children
The sixth step is taken by the couple to be together always
And while taking the last seventh step they promise to be truthful and trustworthy to each other and pledge to be united always in friendship and harmony

All give blessings to the couple for long and happy lives together after being declared as Husband and Wife Ram and Priya bow to all invited guests and leave the mandap as a newly married couple as the guests shower them with flower petals
Shudhir and Shipra's eyes feel in tears they dint know wat to do should they be happy at their daughter beautiful life ahead or be sad as she wili be leavng the house In the either way they couldn't stop the flow of emotions through their tears
Ram stepped froward holding Priya by hand he assured Shipra and Sudhir that he took always keep happy
they took Priya's hand and putting it in Ram's hand Priya hugged him and headed to the car that take her to her new home

Watching the sunrise without me? Ram's husky voice vibrated through Priya's body sending her a sensation of chills she held his ribs and quickly turned to face him and couldn't help but blush
Good morning...she said sleepily and smiled her ruby eyes reflecting the vibrant colours of the sunrise she looked so beautiful and angelic and her skin looked more vibrant and held a warmer glow than usual

The morning was still young Ram walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist displaying his well defined upper body still heavily beaded with water he walked over to the edge of the bed as Priya just finished changing the sheets placing the silver silky and gray husky cushions down
They should be dry soon she smiled and blushed at the sight of the previous night staring at him so exposed still left her with a pretty pink blush on her cheeks
Her hair still damp she went over to Ram and with a towel she started drying his hair at first Ram laughed and he hugged Priya's waist tightly startling her she stopped drying his hair as he buried his face in her tummy Priya stroked Ram's head in comfort after a peaceful moment
Ram and Priya pull in at the same time for their kiss loving desperate hard and soft all at the same time I love you Mr. Kapoor Priya giggles under her breath to him
I love you too . . . Mrs. Kapoor replies back before kissing her again
