Krishna Ji sighed and said, "There are so many people in this house, yet nothing seems to be getting done. Only two days left until the engagement, and we still have so much to prepare."

Rishabh reassured her, "Ma, please don’t worry. Everything will be taken care of in time."

But Krishna Ji shook her head and said, "Yes, I know it will get done, but when? After the engagement is over?"

Just then, Vikram and Neha walked into the Kapoor Mansion.

"Aunty, please don’t worry. I’ve arranged everything. By tonight, everything will be sorted," Vikram said confidently.

Krishna Ji’s face softened as she replied, "Thank you, beta."

Vikram smiled warmly and said, "Aunty, why are you thanking me? Don’t you think of me as your son?"

Krishna Ji’s voice grew tender. "No, beta. You are like my own son, just like Ram and Rishabh. You’ve always stood by Ram, through thick and thin. You’ve been my support too. You’re more than a son to me."

Vikram chuckled and said, "So, does that mean I shouldn’t thank you either and just follow your orders?"

Krishna Ji, teasingly, replied, "Alright then. From now on, I'll only give you orders. Is that okay?"

Vikram nodded with a smile, his eyes full of warmth.

Neha, playful as ever, jumped in, "Now that you all are done with your little emotional exchange, can someone finally listen to me?"

Vikram grinned and said, "Hey, I always listen to you, especially since we married!"

Rishabh and Vikram shared a laugh, but Neha shot them an annoyed look.

Krishna Ji, noticing the tension, gently asked, “What’s going on, dear?”

Neha, with a hint of frustration, said, “All the preparations are done, but there's one thing left.”

Vikram, curious, asked, “What’s left?”

Neha sighed, “The engagement ring shopping.”

Krishna Ji suddenly remembered, “Oh, right! How could I forget? But where’s Ram? That boy seems to have no interests beyond work. The engagement is in two days, and he’s still glued to his laptop. You all go for the shopping, and yes, take Priya with you.”

Rishabh, grinning, said, “Bhabhi’s coming with us, right?”

Neha smiled, “You should come too, for the shopping.”

Natasha playfully responded, “But I’ve already designed the engagement outfits for Bhai and Bhabhi!”

Natasha beamed, “I’m so excited for my brother’s wedding, Bhabhi!”

Neha, sharing in the excitement, replied, “Yes, we’re all excited.”

Krishna Ji added, “But you still need to go shopping for the engagement rings, right?”

Neha nodded, “Yes, that’s what we’re off to do. Where’s Ram?”

Rishabh said, “He’s in the study.”

Neha turned to Natasha, “Come on, Nats, let’s get him.”

They headed to the study, where they found Ram engrossed in his laptop. 

Neha, trying to get his attention, asked, “Ram, what are you doing?”

Without looking up, Ram replied, “What does it look like? I’m working.”

Neha rolled her eyes, “Yes, we can see that. But your engagement is just two days away, and you’re stuck here with your boring work.”

Ram, slightly irritated, said, “My work isn’t boring. I love it.”

Neha smirked, “Yeah, we’ve noticed.”

Ram, sensing they had a purpose, asked, “What do you two want?”

Nats, in her playful tone, said, “It’s important.”

Ram raised an eyebrow, “Alright, what is it?”

Neha, with a determined look, said, “You’re coming shopping with us.”

Ram, confused, asked, “Shopping? What for?”

Nats explained, “For your engagement, silly! You and Priya need to select an engagement ring.”

At the mention of Priya’s name, Ram’s expression darkened. His frustration surfaced, and he snapped, “I’m not going anywhere. I have too much work to do.”

Neha urged, "Come on, how can you say no to shopping? You’re getting married! That’s a once-in-a-lifetime event, not something that happens every day. You should take a break from work for once and do something for yourself. Let’s go."

Ram sighed, “Neha, I really don’t have any time. Please understand, I have a crucial meeting I need to attend.”

Nats chimed in, “But Bhai, who will pick your ring? Come on, let’s go. Ma said we should take Priya Bhabhi too.”

Ram, sounding irritated, replied, “You all go ahead. I’m not coming.”

Neha, confused, asked, “Ram, what’s going on with you?”

Ram's frustration grew, and he snapped, “Why can’t you all just understand? I need to focus on my work! I don’t have time for this nonsense. Please leave me alone.”

Hearing the commotion, Vikram rushed in. “Ram, what happened? Why are you shouting?”

Neha, visibly upset, said, “Ram, you don’t care about anyone else, do you?”

Ram coldly replied, “No, I don’t.”

Nats added, “Bhai, just think about Priya Bhabhi. How would she feel?”

Ram, losing his patience, said, “It doesn’t matter to me. I have work to do, and I won’t leave it for anyone, no matter who it is.”

Vikram tried to calm him down, “Ram, what are you saying? Tell me what you need done. I can handle it, and you can go shopping.”

Ram snapped, “Please stop. I’ll do my own work. I don’t want to go shopping. If you all want to go, go ahead. If anyone wants to think something, let them think it. It doesn’t matter to me.”

Neha, hurt, said, “Fine, I’ll tell Dadi. She’ll think about it too. That won’t matter to you either, right?”

Ram, clearly annoyed, replied, “Neha, don’t bring Dadi into this!” He stormed off to his room, leaving Neha, Natasha, and Vikram frustrated.

Neha, exasperated, asked, “What’s wrong with him? He’s never acted like this before.”

Vikram sighed, “Just let him be. He’ll come around.”

Nats, concerned, asked, “But what about the shopping? We still need to get the rings.”

Vikram suggested, “Why don’t you two go to Priya’s house and take her shopping? If her family asks about Ram, just tell them their future son-in-law is busy. And take Rishabh with you.”

"Sorry, sorry. Please come inside," Priya apologized and welcomed them in.

Neha, Nats, and Rishabh entered and took blessings from Shipra Ji and Sudhir Ji.

Neha said, "Sorry, we came without informing you."

Nats said, "We came to take Priya Bhabhi with us."

Shipra Ji asked, "Where are you going?"
